Following a recent visit to Smyth Composites by representatives from Trustful Solutions of Saudi Arabia, a partnership agreement between the companies was drawn up. Trustful Solutions supply products to the offshore and onshore oil refinery business throughout the GCC.
The initial deal will see Smyth Composites supply their GRP anti-slip range of products, including (luminescent) stair treads and gritted sheet, in to a region where they previously had no presence but recognised the vast potential.
“A marketing study commissioned by Trustful Solutions indicated a significant demand for our product range” said Mr Smyth, “and after a highly successful trial installation and assessment, Trustful Solutions moved quickly to conclude a deal.”

Smyth Composites estimate this could increase their turnover in their anti-slip products division by up to 15% and will undoubtedly result in employment opportunities for factory operatives.
Ross added, “After previously securing business in Europe and supplying one-off jobs in to the GCC, this is our first partnership in the region and with representation at an Asian Trade Fair later in the year it is a clear sign of our intention to grow the business in the short to medium term.”
