This is just one of the many foot bridges in Amsterdam being refurbished with Smyth Composites anti-slip flooring. Each decking panel was cut to sizes provided by our client. As in many countries, local authorities are taking precautions to ensure the publics’ safety – more likely as not to protect themselves from slip injury claims!

A Simple Ramp
“For demonstration purposes only”. Here you can see what a great difference installing anti-slip flooring can make to the look of a property as well as increasing the safety of pedestrians entering or exiting the building.
You will observe we have only temporarily laid the anti-slip flat sheet and tread in this instance. If this were to be a permenant installation it is suggested the edges of the concrete ramp would be “made good” before the anti-slip sheeting was laid. Here the “walkway” is yellow – we also offer black or grey as standard (any other RAL or BS colour could also be used).

Nissan Motors Manufacturing (UK) Ltd
“After a thorough search of the market place to find a suitably durable and affordable anti-slip flooring solution, which was able to be supplied in cut to size boards, Nissan Engineering department selected Smyth Composites for their production plant. The installation of the product is now complete and has proved to be a very successful improvement.”
